Pitch‑In Callander – Community Clean‑Up Day

The Municipality of Callander is inviting residents to take part in Pitch‑In Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Pitch‑In is a national campaign that encourages community involvement to create cleaner and healthier spaces. In Callander, this annual spring clean‑up gives residents of all ages the opportunity to help beautify our community and care for our shared environment.

Participants are asked to gather at Centennial Park (ramp platform) to pick up free garbage bags and gloves, generously provided by Pitch‑In Canada. Municipal staff will be on site to identify areas that need clean‑up or to note which area you are working in.

Once garbage bags are full, participants are asked to notify staff of their location so bags can be collected. Blue bin education handouts will also be available to help residents learn what items are acceptable for recycling.

Whether you can stay for the full event or just stop by for a short time, your help makes a difference. Join your neighbours and Pitch‑In to keep Callander clean!
