Summer Student Employment Opportunities

Operations Parks and Roads (2 Positions)

Primary duties include assisting the Operations Department in the areas of Roads, Parks, and Facilities maintenance including the maintenance and beautification of various floral sites within the Municipality. Candidates ideally suited will have experience in horticultural services, lawn/park maintenance and operation of related equipment.

Positions require CSA Approved Safety Boots at the employee’s own expense, prior to commencement.

Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License, in good standing is desirable but not mandatory.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (40 hrs/week, overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required, at the direction of the Manager of Operations).

Wage: $16.65/hour plus Vacation Pay
