🍳🎄 Holiday Safety Starts with Cooking Smart! 🎄🍳

12 Days of Holiday Fire Safety - Day 9

The kitchen is the heart of the holidays—but also the #1 source of holiday fires. Keep the joy in your recipes with these simple tips:

Stay in the kitchen. Never leave cooking unattended.
Clear the stovetop. Keep oven mitts, towels, and plastic utensils far from heat.
Have a lid ready. If a pot catches fire, turn off the stove and slide the lid over the pot to smother the flames.
Remind kids about kitchen safety. Little helpers need big supervision!

🎁 The best holiday recipes start with attention—not just ingredients.
Protect your loved ones. Protect your home. Together, let’s keep Ontario safe this holiday season!

From communities across the province—here’s to a bright, joyful, and fire-safe holiday!
