🏠🔥 Holiday Safety Starts with a Home Fire Escape Plan! 🔥🏠

12 Days of Holiday Fire Safety - Day 8

Fire doesn’t wait—and neither should we. In an emergency, every second counts. A simple plan can make all the difference:

Two ways out. Identify two exits from every room.
Assign helpers. Decide who will assist young children, older adults, or anyone needing help.
Pick a safe meeting spot. A tree or lamp post across the street works perfectly.
Once out, stay out. Never go back inside.
Call 9-1-1 from outside.
Practice twice a year. Try it during the day and at night.
Review annually. Keep your plan fresh and ready.

🎁 When the smoke alarm sounds, there’s no time to plan—only time to act.
Protect your loved ones. Protect your home. Together, let’s keep Ontario safe this holiday season!

From communities across the province—here’s to a bright, joyful, and fire-safe holiday!
