A Flood Warning is in effect until Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. for areas along the Upper Ottawa River (from Lake Timiskaming to east of Papineau‑Cameron Township, including Mattawa) and the shoreline of Lake Nipissing.

The Municipality of Callander is inviting residents to take part in Pitch‑In Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Nomination papers will not be accepted on Tuesday, May 6th, and Wednesday, May 7th, 2026.
