Although snow may not be in the immediate forecast, winter parking and snow control regulations are now in effect throughout the Municipality of Callander.

Effective November 1 to March 31, overnight on-street parking is prohibited between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to ensure municipal crews can safely and effectively carry out winter maintenance operations when required.

Vehicles that interfere with snow clearing activities may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.

Residents are also reminded that snow or ice shall not be deposited, moved, or relocated onto any highway, bridge, or within the road allowance in a manner that obstructs traffic or visibility. Violations may result in fines.
