NOTICE – ICE SHACK REMOVAL

Posted April 9th, 2026

An ice shack has been located on the ice near the end of the Lansdowne Street boat ramp for several weeks.
We are asking the owner to please remove the ice shack as soon as possible. If it is not removed within 24 hours of this notice, the Municipality may consider it abandoned and arrange for its removal.
Please be aware that abandoned ice shacks may also result in enforcement action or fines from the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), in addition to any municipal removal costs.
If you are the owner, or have information about who owns the ice shack, we kindly ask that action be taken promptly.
If you have any questions, please contact the Municipality at 705-752-1410.
Thank you for your cooperation.
