Holiday decorations bring extra sparkle—and sometimes extra plugs. Keep the season bright and safe with these tips:
✅ Choose approved cords. Look for CSA, ULC, or ETL marks and make sure they’re rated for indoor or outdoor use.
✅ One cord is enough. Never link extension cords together—use one that’s long enough for the job.
✅ Don’t overload circuits. And never run cords under rugs or across doorways where they can be damaged or cause tripping.
✅ Inspect before you connect. If a cord is frayed or damaged, toss it.
✅ Unplug when you leave. Decorations should never stay powered when you’re away.
