FALL CLEANUP DAYS

The Municipality is pleased to offer two opportunities for fall cleanup; curbside pickup on your regular pick up date (Oct. 1st or 4th) and drop off at the Operations Yard on Oct. 5th.

The Municipality is pleased to offer two opportunities for fall cleanup:

CURBSIDE PICKUP
On your regular pickup date of Tuesday, October 1st or Friday, October 4th, 2019, Miller Waste will pick up regular household garbage, non-metal chairs and furniture (including couches with no metal frames), drywall, scrap wood (no nails), ceiling tiles, floor tiles, carpets and insulation (non-asbestos) provided that the material is properly bagged or bundled for safe pickup.

DROP OFF
The Operations Yard at 100 Nipissing Street will be open on
Saturday, October 5th, 2019
From 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Metal: An open-top container will be provided for mixed metals with the exclusion of appliances with refrigerant substances such as fridges, dehumidifiers, water coolers, air conditioners, etc. Please Note all Fridges and Freezers must be Tagged Freon Free.

Mixed Rubbish: Two open-top containers will be provided for mixed oversize rubbish, such as shower stalls, toilets, sinks, wood, construction/renovation debris, large carpets, and heavy yard waste. Mattresses and/or Box Springs will NOT be accepted.

Batteries and Electronics: An open-top container will be provided.

Tires: An open-top container will be provided for passenger and light truck tires.

NO HAZARDOUS WASTE, SHINGLES, CONCRETE, STONES OR GRAVEL WILL BE PERMITTED.
PROOF OF RESIDENCY WILL BE REQUIRED. NO COMMERCIAL GARBAGE ACCEPTED.
