2008 Municipal Tax Rates
The Total Tax Rate is determined by adding the General Tax Rate to the Educational Tax Rate. As seen below these rates differ based on the class that you occupy.

Four tax bills are issued during the year as follows:
Interim Tax Bills are sent out early in the year with two instalment dates which are March 31st and May 31st.
Final Tax Bills sent out in July with two instalment dates which are August 31st and September 30th.
The final bills are calculated after the annual operating and capital budgets have been approved by the Council.
Methods of Payment:
A pre-authorized payment plan option is available for taxes only. Forms to enroll is this program are available at the Municipal Office, which is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telebanking and Internet banking and Interac are other acceptable payment options. Please contact your financial institution for further instructions. Monthly installments or single payments with post dated cheques, Interact or cash are also acceptable.
