Recreational Facilities

The Municipality of Callander books events that take place at the Callander Community Centre, South Shore Community Centre, Ball Field, Tennis Court, Centennial Park and Memory Tree Park. For bookings and rental inquiries, please call the Municipality Office at 752-1410.

The Callander Community Centre boasts a large hall which can accommodate up to 375 people, a designated bar area with walk in cooler, a large kitchen, fourty five round tables, fourty five banquet style tables, 350 chairs and much more. Essentially, everything that is required to host a variety of events, from conferences to trade shows to weddings, showers or even birthday parties, is already in place.

South Shore Community Centre

The South Shore Community Centre was built in 2006, can accommodate up to 50 people, has a small kitchenette and two restroom facilities (all of which is wheelchair accessible). The lower floor of this building houses the outdoor rink change room facility, which is used during the winter months. If you are looking to host a small function, this location may be exactly what you are looking for.
