2010 Municipal Art Display

On June 15th, 2010, council members from the Municipality of Callander recognized six winners of the “Four Seasons of Reasons” art contest. Students attending MT Davidson School from grades one through seven participated in this creative annual event by submitting a poster which depicted what the “Four Seasons of Reasons” meant to them. You can view these works of art in the Municipal Office from May 2010 to May 2011. Congratulations and well done winners! Thanks to all who participated.

Funfest 2010

Our Canada Day Funfest Celebrations were a wonderful success. We had record number of visitors attending our festivities and a good time had by all. A special THANK YOU to our Funfest Crew that devotes a lot of time and effort to ensure that this annual event is enjoyed by everyone. Our fireworks were spectacular! A big THANK YOU to our Fire Department for their creative display in the sky. THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered to coordinate the various activities that were offered and were thoroughly entertaining for everyone’s amusement. See you next year!
