Finance and Community Development Committee

The role of the Finance and Community Development Executive Committee is to ensure the coordination of corporate resources, initiatives and operations in a manner that will make the most efficient use of existing infrastructure and resources.   Further, this Executive Committee is to guide the sustainable development of the community, while preserving a high quality of life for residents, protecting important natural and cultural resources, and facilitating the efficient use of municipal services.

Chair and Co-Chair shall rotate each meeting.
Mayor may attend as “ex officio”.  Areas of responsibility and discussion of and the making of recommendations to Committee of the Whole with respect to, the following areas:

  • Finance
  • Administration
  • Economic Development
  • Planning
  • Community Services
Members/Chairs:
  • Councillor Heather Busch
  • Councillor Robb Noon

Required Staff Attendees:
  • CAO or designate
  • Treasurer
  • Manager of Economic Development
  • Municipal Clerk or designate
  • Other Staff as required
