Restore Your Shore

Phosphorus is known to contribute to the growth of blue-green algae. Research has proven that shoreline vegetation contributes to the health of lakes and streams, including prevents nutrients such as phosphorus from entering the waterways. The 2015 Restore Your Shore program provides free plants and planting assistance to shoreline property owners. Contact the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority before September 30th.
