Alex Dufresne Gallery
The Alex Dufresne Art Gallery is comfortably placed at the museum, where it houses several exhibitions each year supporting the artistic talents of local and area artists. It is named after Alex Dufresne, a well known barber and collector of fine antiques and artifacts, he was very influencial on opening the museum.

2010 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The Alex Dufresne Gallery is currently accepting proposals for the upcoming year. Proposals are being accepted by artists submitting Solo, Duo or Group Exhibitions for the upcoming programming year of 2010.Deadline for submissions is October 9th, 2009. All submissions must be Postmarked or Delivered in Person by Friday, October 9th, 2009 by 5pm. Shows are currently being booked for the 2010 Programming Year.
Submissions must include the following:
- A brief artist's statement describing the body of work that you are proposing to exhibit.
- A curriculum vitae or artist resume.
- 10-20 images of your work, images may be submitted as hard copy photographs or as a CD of digital images in .jpeg format.
- Image List: Please number all images, hard-copy or digital, and indicate their title, date, medium, and size on an accompanying image list.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope.
